Oxymoron - 1650–60; < Late Latin oxymorum < presumed Greek *oxýmōron, neuter of *oxýmōros sharp-dull, equivalent to oxý ( s ) sharp + mōrós dull. Simply put, two opposites making one.
What's with the long domain name? Well ... many of you don’t know me but those who do will be the first to say, "oh that Idel, that's her answer to (everything) all her recipes, 'I put a little bit of this and a little bit of that in it'."
I would take it a little further and say this is my philosophy in life. I've never been able to settle on one thing and always end up with a million and two projects. Is it boredom or just the sign of a brilliant mind?
Hmmmmm ... I guess it's just a little bit of this, a little bit of that and then some.
One purpose of this blog is to help me focus. Sometimes inside my head feels like the universe with trillions and trillions of stars representing my thoughts … I’m talking about the whole shebang – stars, galaxies, planets, meteors, moons and don’t forget about the shooting stars, these are out of control! No wonder I have such a hard time staying on a single path with all these galaxies and planets to discover. So I figured if I learn to discipline myself into putting a little bit of time into this website on a mostly daily basis, then I can start to redefine and take control of my life.
In a way, I am solving the dilemma of gathering my random thoughts under one roof with different sections to satisfy my desire to jump from one thing onto
another while still allowing them to float freely over the universe that is my mind. I guess this is my way of trying to unclutter my head hoping to bring some order into the realm of reality.
Long live diversity and oxymoronism! Oh yes, I like to make up words when I can't find one that fits what I'm trying to say.
